2026 USA Hockey Women’s National Festival Set For Aug. 2-9 in Lake Placid, New York
Rosters for U18/Collegiate Series to be Selected; Series set for Aug. 12, 13, 15 in Richmond, B.C.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –USA Hockey announced today the athletes invited to the USA Hockey Women’s National Festival and also the Girls Under-18 Women’s National Festival, both taking place August 2-9, in Lake Placid, N.Y.
The invitees include 46 college players, along with 46 players under the age of 18.

The 25-player rosters for the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team and U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team will be named at the conclusion of camp. Both teams will face Canada in a three-game series August 12-15 in Richmond, B.C. The full series schedule is below.

SELECT TEAMS COACHING STAFF ANNOUNCED
John Wroblewski(Neenah, Wis.) will serve as the head coach of the U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team, with Kim Weiss(Potomac, Md.), Melissa Piacentini(Weymouth, Mass.) and Shelly Picard(Taunton, Mass.) as assistant coaches. Alli Altmann(Eagan, Minn.) will be the goaltending coach, while Sean Andrak(Glen Rock, N.J.) will be the video coach.
Courtney Kennedy(Woburn, Mass.) will be the head coach of the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team, with Greg ‘Boom’ May(Burnsville, Minn.), Chris Bailey(Skaneateles, N.Y.) and Makenna Newkirk(Scottsdale, Ariz.) serving as assistant coaches. Mackenzie Bruch(Powder Springs, Ga.) will be the goaltending coach, while Bryce Aldrich(Berwick, Maine) will be the video coach.

NOTES: Lindzi Avar, Annelies Bergmann, Julia Pellerin and Sammy Taberwere invited to this year’s national festival in the collegiate player pool and were unable to attend. Callie McCullough, Catherine McCool and Kathryn Spyhalskiwere invited to this year’s national festival in the under-18 player pool and were unable to attend.
