Tyla announces world tour with Lagos stop
South <a href="https://absafricatv9491.live-website.com/fifa-africa-office-opens-in-rabat-a-global-football-impact/” title=”FIFA Africa Office Opens in Rabat: A Global Football Impact”>African music star Tyla has announced dates for her ‘A*POP’ World Tour, with Lagos listed among the cities on the schedule.
The Grammy-winning singer announced the tour on her Instagram page.
The tour is inspired by her recently released sophomore album, ‘A*POP’.
The global tour will begin on October 12 in Paris, France, and will cover 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Nigeria and South Africa.
According to the schedule released, Tyla will perform in Lagos on December 22 and will conclude the tour with shows in Cape Town on January 4 and in Johannesburg on January 9.

15 – Vancouver, British Columbia
2 – Washington, D.C.
16 – Los Angeles, California
9 – Johannesburg, South Africa
Tyla gained international recognition in 2023 with her breakout single ‘Water’.
The song won her the Best African Music Performance award at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
She followed up with her self-titled debut album, Tyla, which featured songs such as ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘Jump’, and ‘Art’.
The 24-year-old also won the Best African Music Performance Grammy at the 2026 awards.
She beat Burna Boy, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Davido, Omah Lay, Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin to win the award.
