Women’s Premier League side Epiphany Warriors have confirmed the departure of left-back Hellen Kutsanedzi, who has completed a transfer to Tanzanian giants Simba Queens on a two-year contract.
The Ghanaian defender joins one of East Africa’s most successful women’s clubs as she takes the next step in her career following an impressive spell with Epiphany Warriors.
Kutsanedzi established herself as one of the standout full-backs in the Ghana Women’s Premier League, earning recognition for her defensive solidity, pace, and ability to contribute in attack from the left flank. Her consistent performances attracted interest from abroad, with Simba Queens securing her signature ahead of the new season.
The move offers the defender an opportunity to compete at a higher level and potentially feature in the CAF Women’s Champions League, where Simba Queens have become regular contenders.
For Epiphany Warriors, Kutsanedzi’s departure marks the loss of a key member of the squad, while also highlighting the club’s growing reputation for developing players capable of earning moves to top clubs across the continent.
The 24-year-old is expected to join her new teammates immediately as Simba Queens continue preparations for the upcoming campaign in the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League.
