Asian Paints reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. On a consolidated basis, net sales increased 17.9 per cent YoY to Rs 10,521.4 crore from Rs 8,924.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, Tax and Other Income (PBDIT) rose 33.5 per cent to Rs 2,168.8 crore, while the PBDIT margin expanded by 240 basis points to 20.6 per cent. Profit before tax grew 38.9 per cent to Rs 2,095.7 crore, and net profit attributable to shareholders surged 40 per cent to Rs 1,539.3 crore from Rs 1,099.8 crore.
Asian Paints Strong Growth Across Core Business
The company’s Decorative Business in India delivered 9 per cent volume growth and 16.6 per cent value growth, supported by calibrated pricing actions. Industrial Coatings maintained its mid-teen growth momentum, recording more than 16 per cent value growth, contributing to broad-based performance across the coatings portfolio. The company said profitability improved due to measured price increases, better product mix, formulation and sourcing efficiencies, along with disciplined cost management.

International Business Continues to Perform
Asian Paints’ international business recorded 27.2 per cent growth in net sales to Rs 936.5 crore, led by strong performances from Egypt, UAE, Oman, Nepal and Bangladesh. In constant currency terms, revenue increased 20.3 per cent, while profit before tax nearly doubled, rising 94.9 per cent to Rs 74.1 crore.
Home Decor and Industrial Business
Within the Home Décor segment, the Kitchen business posted 10.1 per cent revenue growth to Rs 108 crore, while the Bath Fittings business reported a 4.3 per cent decline in sales. Weatherseal revenue increased 11.2 per cent, whereas White Teak revenue declined 7.4 per cent during the quarter.
The industrial coatings business also delivered healthy growth. Asian Paints PPG Private Limited (APPPG) reported 21.3 per cent growth in net sales to Rs 372.9 crore, while PPG Asian Paints Private Limited (PPGAP) recorded 13.5 per cent growth in net sales to Rs 651.9 crore.
Amit Syngle, Managing Director and CEO, said the company began FY27 on a strong note by building on the momentum of the previous quarter. He said decorative paints delivered healthy volume growth, industrial coatings maintained strong momentum and the international business achieved healthy growth with margin expansion despite global uncertainties. He added that the company remains focused on technology, innovation, customer centricity and disciplined cost management to sustain profitability amid raw material price volatility.
